Game drives are timed around first and last light, when the cats are moving.

DAY 01

Nairobi to the Masai Mara

Morning pickup and the drive south-west through the Rift Valley escarpment, with a stop at the viewpoint. Arrive at camp for lunch, then out on an afternoon game drive as the light softens.

Full day in the Mara

A full day inside the reserve with a packed lunch, following the herds toward the Mara River crossing points. This is the day the migration is most likely to show itself.

DAY 03

Mara to Lake Nakuru

An early game drive, then north to Lake Nakuru National Park. Afternoon drive along the lakeshore: rhino country, and flamingos in the shallows.

A last morning drive through the park, then lunch and the road back to Nairobi. Drop-off at your hotel or the airport.
