The Mara in these months is the one place on earth where a million wildebeest cross a river in front of you. Three nights, two parks, and a guide who knows where the herds moved yesterday.
Prices are per person and drop as the group grows, because the vehicle and guide are shared. Choose below to see your price and the trip total.
Prices are based on specific hotels chosen for service quality. Changes can be made to fit your dates, pace and preferences. Just say what you have in mind.
Game drives are timed around first and last light, when the cats are moving.
Morning pickup and the drive south-west through the Rift Valley escarpment, with a stop at the viewpoint. Arrive at camp for lunch, then out on an afternoon game drive as the light softens.
A full day inside the reserve with a packed lunch, following the herds toward the Mara River crossing points. This is the day the migration is most likely to show itself.
An early game drive, then north to Lake Nakuru National Park. Afternoon drive along the lakeshore: rhino country, and flamingos in the shallows.
A last morning drive through the park, then lunch and the road back to Nairobi. Drop-off at your hotel or the airport.
